Bukky Ajayi Celebrated Her 82nd Birthday 5 Months Ago

Nollywood actress and former TV newscaster, Bukky Ajayi died this morning, Wednesday, July 6, 2016 after a battle with heart-related issues, True Nollywood Stories reports.

It’s just five months after she celebrated her 82nd birthday with relatives.

The ‘Diamond Ring’ actress was honoured with an ‘Industry Merit Award’ at the AMVCAs 2016 and she gave an emotional response to the standing ovation she got – a moment many believe is the most touching in AMVCA history.

It must have been a remarkable year for her, but we have lost another veteran in Nigerian showbiz.
