The singer later went on to launch his own independent record in 2012 known as Confam Entertainment and even released an EP a few months ago. Now, it appears, May D is ready to widen his horizons as he just got signed to Davido’s well-established record label which houses the likes of Dremo, Mayorkun, Peruzzi, Yonda and so on.

The rapper who recently released an album titled “Introduction To Trap Fro” stated that he unfollowed everyone who failed to post his project on their page. Yunbg6ix said the reason behind this move is because they are the kind of people to post his obituary immediately if anything happens to him.
She wrote: “On IG I unfollowed everybody I was following who didn’t post my album on their page, knowing fully well if something happened to me tomorrow they’d prolly post my RIP on thier main page. Check out my album and support if you truly love me”
In another tweet, he responded to another person who slammed him for moving around Lagos with the police. He explained that he moves around town with security because he wants to protect himself from the police who are supposed to be protecting him. According to him, having a luxury car as a young man is considered a crime,
He wrote: “I saw someone slam me on Instagram when I made a comment about moving around Lagos with armed security, it wasn’t to protect myself from fans no, it was to protect myself from the Police who are supposed to be protecting me. Apparently having a luxury car in your 20’s is a crime.”

On July 16, 2020, word from the grapevine was that Nigerian singer, Niniola would release her sophomore album, 'Colors and Sounds' in September 2020.
The album would be a follow-up to her critically-acclaimed debut album, This Is Me which was released in 2017. At this time, the date of release is yet to be announced, but the album can be anticipated.
The album joins a long list of releases in the second half of 2020 including Davido, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Tekno, Wizkid, Cuppy, Peruzzi, Yemi Alade and more.
