The pirated copies of Kunle Afolayan‘s acclaimed film, October 1 are now being sold on the streets of Lagos.

NET ran into roadside hawkers today, April, 13, 2015 in the Anthony area of Lagos brandishing the pirated copies of the movie which cost several millions of Naira to produce being sold for a paltry N500.

It would be recalled that Kunle Afolayan, only last week, cried out that Igbo pirates at Alaba were planning to release the album illegally into the market.

The director and producer is currently devastated with the mindless violation of his creative enterprise, lamenting the seeming unwilling stance of government to look into the controversy surrounding piracy in Nigeria
