Top Nigerian entertainers, P’Square,
Flavour and Seyi Shay have been announced as the music stars that would
join the star studded list of superstars scheduled to thrill guests at
the forthcoming MTV Africa Music Awards (MAMA).
Billed to hold at the Durban
International Convention Centre (ICC), KwaZulu-Natal, South Africa on
July 18, 2015, the music stars would join global stars such as 2face
Idibia, Neyo, Jhene Aiko, AKA, Toofan, Young Thug, Wizkid, Black Motion,
Davido, Bucie, Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, and Casper Nyovest amongst
others.
This year’s edition of the awards will
broadcast live across Africa on MTV Base (DStv channel 322), MTV (DStv
channel 130) and BET (DStv channel 129) on Saturday 18 July at 9:00PM.
It will also be transmitted worldwide on partner stations and content
platforms including BET International from 18 July.
First staged in 2008, the MTV Africa
Music Awards has rewarded iconic artists, personalities and
game-changers such as 2face Idibia, Davido, D’Banj, P-Square, Tiwa
Savage, Flavour, Fally Ipupa, Liquideep, Mafikizolo, Clarence Peters,
Diamond Platnumz, Sarkodie, Cabo Snoop, Uhuru, and many more.
