With several a-list artistes having had one issue or the other with the labels they are signed to, which of course started from contracts signed at the initiation stage, producer and label owner, TY Mix, has
a thing or two to say about this.

According to the ace producer, so many artistes who get approached by record labels for music deals, hurriedly sign the contracts presented to them without properly vetting and understanding what the deal entails and what is expected of them.

In his words:
I think human nature, there will always be conflict of interest. I think one of the major challenges is, artistes don’t really understand the contract they sign…
