Controversial Nigerian personality Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa,
better known as Charly Boy, lamented that modern youth can't rely on
themselves in terms of employment, but count on white collar jobs.
Charly Boy, who is having hard times because his dad, Justice
Chukwudifu Oputa (rtd), is in critical condition, stressed the
importance of leaving the "comfort zone" to find a better life.
"Most
of our graduates finish school and they sit at home, applying and
re-applying for government job where vacant seats are already given away
before applications are announced."
He said the young people should go to the unknown places and face new life challenges.
"God has given each an everyone a gift and if we dig deeper, we may find it."
